MITR™-PF Particulate Filter (2 pack)

The Avon Protection MITR-PF Compact Particulate Filter is a low-profile particulate filter containing a pleated, high-efficiency filter element for protection against biological and pharmaceutical agents.

The MITR™-PF Particulate Filter exclusively for the MITR™-M1 Mask delivers particulate protection efficiencies greater than 99.97% against oil- and non-oil-based contaminants.

Particulates protected against include pharmaceutical agents, biological agents, and other particulates.

The MITR™-PF Compact Particulate Filter is a particulate only filter and will not protect against gases or vapors. Not for use in oxygen deficient or enriched environments.

Do not use in concentrations of contaminants that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or when concentrations exceed the use limitations for the half mask specified in applicable government regulations; whichever is the lower.

The filter body is made of a high-quality engineering construction plastic, strategically chosen for its toughness and strength. This material gives the MITR-PF Compact Particulate Filter extreme durability against the shocks and impacts that are commonly experienced by equipment during operational use. The filter body is black in color and has a matte finish to reduce reflection.

The high efficiency filter element is made of high performance, synthetic particulate filtration media, selected to lend high protection capacity while maintaining low breathing resistance and profile.

The MITR-PF Compact Particulate Filter is entirely non-ferrous and non-magnetic.

The MITR-PF filter cartridge is a reusable filter cartridge and may be used for more than a single shift. Before a filter cartridge is reused it must be inspected for damage.

Specifications

The MITR-PF filter cartridge provides >99.97% particulate efficiency (P100/P3).

The MITR-PF has a recommended operational range of -25°F to +120°F (-32°C to +49°C), the environmental temperature range in which the product has been demonstrated to remain functional for the wearer.

Compatibility

The MITR-PF filter cartridge is designed to be used with the Avon Protection Modular Integrated Tactical Respirator Half Mask (MITR-M1).

The MITR-M1 half mask is designed to be configured with a single filter cartridge, which can be configured to be worn on the left or right hand side.

The MITR-M1 half mask must only be used with filter cartridges supplied by and approved for use by Avon Protection.

Approvals (as stated by Avon Protection)

MITR-M1 Half Mask and MITR-PF Particulate Filter were approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) on the 23rd September 2025. NIOSH reference TN-27899, Approval number TC-84A-9852. The respirator has met the requirements of Title 42, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 84 (42 CFR 84).

Export control

The U.S. Government has certain controls over the MITR™-PF Filter (2 pack) and prohibits the exporting, selling, transferring, transporting, or shipping of the product outside the U.S. without first obtaining approval from the U.S. government, or as authorized by U.S. law and regulations. This restriction applies whether the product is in its original form or has been incorporated into other items. This product is subject to Export Administration Regulations (EAR) with a classification of 1A004.
